Today our girl had book character day at school!

This trip was super fast but crazy busy. We will forever call this place our second home.

Not the news we were hoping for.
😞😞😞

Emilia’s tumor has grown about 15%, and has more activity. We weren’t scheduled to come back to Tennessee until July, but now we will come back in 8 weeks for a rescan and just pray that this was a one time thing.

We always knew regrowth was going to happen, but wasn’t supposed to happen while on treatment. So for now we upped her dose and just have to watch and make sure nothing changes with her and will come back for scans around April.

Whew it’s been a day, we hit the road at 6am for our monthly appointment in Baton Rouge.

The second we pulled up instant tears, she knew she had to get poked 😭

I keep hoping that one day it will get easier for her, but so grateful for such an amazing staff at lady of the lake. They sang to her while doing everything, brought her a new baby, and even painted a Christmas tree ❤️
