Today our residents celebrated the heroes who make a difference in their lives every single day — our incredible nurses and CNAs. During our Heartfelt Heroes Social, residents created handmade Valentine’s cards filled with sweet messages, gratitude, and lots of love. 💌 They also took time to share who their personal heroes are and why — and so many of those heroes work right here in our building. From helping hands to listening ears and compassionate hearts, our nursing team truly makes this place feel like home. We are so thankful for the care, kindness, and dedication they show each and every day. We also celebrated our many resident veterans with their very own Heartfelt Heroes Award certificate to show our appreciation for their service and sacrifice to our country. Thank you to ALL of our Heartfelt Heroes — you are appreciated more than words can say! ❤️

We continued our celebration of the Winter Olympics today our residents put their skills to the test during our Minute to Win It Winter Olympic Games—full of laughs, friendly competition, and lots of cheering. Who says the Olympics have to be cold? ☃️🎉🥇

Opening Day of the Winter Olympics = our own Olympic Torch Relay! 🔥❄️

We would like to present our January Employee of the Month, Nicole Niday, Charge Nurse! Not only was Nicole chosen as Berkshire’s Employee of the Month, but she was also chosen as our Company Employee of the Month! Nicole’s great character, warm heart, and extraordinary work ethic set her apart. She consistently goes above and beyond for both her residents and her co-workers and is always willing to help-whether covering a shift or providing emotional support to her team.
Nicole has been an LPN since 2009 and was a CNA for 4 years prior to that. She pursued a nursing career due to her extremely caring nature. Often described as the engine that keeps Unit One running, Nicole leads with positivity, patience, and strength. She receives frequent compliments from residents and family members for the exceptional care she provides. Working long hours, remaining calm under pressure, and ensuring her team never faces obstacles alone are just a few traits that make her stand out. We are extremely lucky to have her! Please help us congratulate Nicole on such a fantastic accomplishment!

With snow and extreme cold expected this weekend, our facility is fully prepared.

Today we held a car care event to help prepare for the winter storm heading our way. We offered windshield wiper fluid top-offs, tire PSI checks and inflation, and ice scrapers for our team. We want our staff to be prepared and safe as this weather moves in. Stay warm and safe! ❄️🚗
