✨ Pelvic Floor PT ✨
👉🏼 does not have to look like your gynecological visit
Other things I’m looking at outside of your pelvic floor? 👇🏼
✨Your hip. 🍑 I’m seeing how your hip moves into external rotation, internal rotation, as well as flexion, extension, abduction, and adduction.
✨ Your spine. 🩻 The better your spine flexes, extends, and rotates, the happier your pelvic floor is going to be.
✨Your core. 💪🏼 Checking to see if you are easily able to activate your deeper lower abdominals tells me a lot about your pelvic floor muscle activation.
✨Your breathwork. 🌬️ Helping you fill air into your entire trunk and learning to kick your core stabilizers on with exhaling can help with a variety of dysfunctions.
✨Your feet. 🦶🏼Assessing how your foot can move and absorb pressure can directly correlate to your pelvic floor.
👉🏼 besides internal work, there is PLENTY to assess on the outside.
