A Virginia CCRC has launched a subsidiary company to help older adults, the senior living industry and healthcare providers responsibly explore therapeutic CBD and cannabis use. The action comes as the hearing process to potentially reschedule ma*****na begins at the federal level.

The numbers speak volumes. Among the 186 clients assessed in 2024, 96.8% experienced improvement in symptoms affecting their quality of life, such as sleep disturbances, chronic pain, or anxiety. Only 2.2% reported mild side effects like gastrointestinal upset or low energy, underscoring the importance of tailored consultations and high-quality, federally compliant products.

Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay started the Cannability Consulting program with its residents providing CBD and h**p-related products for health benefits.

As we get closer to officially opening the Dozoretz Hospice House of Hampton Roads, we want to introduce you to our leadership team.

Dr. Victoria Crenshaw is the Executive Director of the Hospice House and brings a wealth of personal and professional experience in hospice care. She, in collaboration with our partner Beth Shalom Village and Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay, are responsible for the Hospice House's overall operations. Suzanne Smith is our Clinical Coordinator and leads the hospice's clinical care team. She has extensive experience in the community and hospice house settings. Elizabeth Hines is our Concierge Services Coordinator, responsible for our volunteer program and ensuring all guests feel welcome and comfortable. Dr. Alexandria Hill is Westminster-Canterbury’s Corporate Quality Assurance Director. She uses her expertise at the hospice house to help support the organization’s administrative and quality functions.
