✨ Meet our amazing team! ✨

🏄 Michael Maugeri, LPTA, CSCS, was born and raised in Virginia Beach and was a graduate of First Colonial High School having lettered in varsity soccer, swimming, and volleyball. Growing up in the water, surfing was also his passion. He received his B.S. from James Madison University in 2006 where he discovered his passion for physical therapy. He went on to further his education and became a licensed physical therapist assistant in 2011.

Michael has gained experience working in a variety of physical therapy settings including home health/assisted living facilities, specialized pediatric units, and outpatient orthopedics specializing in sports medicine.

Having found his passion working with youth athletes, Michael became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with a focus on bridging post-rehabilitation to return to play. Additionally, Michael is a certified TRX trainer, Sportsmetrics Trainer for ACL injury-prevention, and is a Functional Movement Specialist.

Their next chapter is devoted to supporting women through fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and the evolving journey of motherhood. What began as a yoga space is becoming something deeper: a place for education, movement, community, and care.

✨ Meet our amazing team! ✨

📚 Dr. Michele Nielsen is a native of Virginia Beach and graduate of First Colonial High School. She received her BS in exercise science in 2000 and went on to receive her doctoral degree in 2006, both from Old Dominion University.

🩰 Following graduation she continued her education through coursework at the Harkness Center for Dance Injuries to develop a physical therapy program geared toward the special needs of dancers. Dance has always been Michele’s first love and here she has been able to combine her passion for orthopedics and dance into this program.

📣 JOIN US NEXT WEEK: Looking to audition for a Pro Team this year? Come take a Pro Prep class with the Admirals Dance Team and former Panthers and Falcons NFL Cheerleader Eiesha! We will be warming up, stretching, and learning a short pro-style combo. At the end we will have a Q&A session with Eiesha about her experience as a Pro Cheerleader.

📃 Dr. Eiesha Williamson is a National Dance and Pageant Choreographer, Judge, and Consultant. She is an eight time Former Professional Cheerleader for both the Atlanta Falcons and Carolina Panthers, Dance Studio Owner and Norfolk State University Hot Ice Dancer. She enjoys teaching all styles of dance and specializes in jazz and hip hop. She was delighted to perform at and NFL Super Bowl.
