🧠Yes, I’m talking about peri/menopause and ADHD AGAIN, because so many women are quietly living this exact story.

🧠Undiagnosed ADHD girls don’t disappear.
They grow into peri/menopausal women who are praised for being “easy,” “responsible,” “gifted,” or “so together”… while quietly working twice as hard just to keep up.

🧠Then hormones shift. Estrogen drops, sleep gets disrupted, life load peaks, and all the invisible coping strategies that worked just enough in our 20’s and young 30’s start to crumble.

🧠Suddenly that high-functioning, hidden-ADHD girl is a peri/menopausal woman hanging by a thread…..exhausted, overwhelmed, and wondering,
“Why can’t I keep up anymore? What’s wrong with me?”

🧠But nothing “broke” in you. The scaffolding fell away, and the nervous system + executive-function load finally became too heavy to carry without support.

🧠If this feels like your story, you are not lazy, crazy, or falling apart. You’re a once-undiagnosed ADHD girl whose brain is asking for care, validation, and actual help, NOT more self-blame.

Do you and your partner keep having the same arguments or misunderstandings? You’re not alone, and it’s common for habits learned in childhood to resurface in our adult relationships. As children, the ways we were treated and how we learned to handle issues beyond our control can quietly affect how we interact with others later in life.

We can begin healing from old hurts and open the door to healthier, more hopeful relationships. As we work through those childhood experiences, we take important steps to break the cycle of unhealthy patterns in how we relate to others. Be gentle with yourself as you notice these patterns—healing often begins with awareness and compassion.

In addition to integrative psychiatric medication management, I also offer online grief recovery to support those navigating the emotional impact of unmet hopes, dreams, and expectations related to relationships and life events.
