The Eliza Hope Foundation's mission is to provide educational support for children and families who are living with Autism and other developmental delays.

The mission of the Eliza Hope Foundation is to provide educational support for children and families who are living with Autism Spectrum disorders in the Hampton Roads area. We intend to carry out this mission by establishing a preschool completely dedicated to providing the special services, teachers and equipment necessary to meet the unique learning needs of these children. Eliza’s Story
Eliza was a sweet, joyful and loving little girl. She loved popcorn and pinecones. She loved watching Frozen, Bubble Guppies and Mickey Mouse and she would listen to the song “Happy” all day long if she could. When Eliza was 16 months old she had her first seizure and after months of doctors’ appointments and neurology tests, she was diagnosed with intractable Epilepsy and Autism Spectrum Disorder at 2 years old. We soon learned that finding a place where Eliza could learn and grow would be an overwhelming task. Out of dozens of local preschools, the majority could not accommodate Eliza’s needs. After months of searching and hours of frustration, we were finally fortunate enough to find two schools that Eliza was able to attend and worked for our family. We want to honor Eliza’s life by helping families who have similar struggles. The best part of the day was watching Eliza wearing her backpack, happily walking to class alongside her teacher. Every child deserves that chance and every parent should be able to experience that moment. This is the wish we hope to fulfill through the Eliza Hope Foundation.

🎉🎂 Happy Birthday, Veronica! 🎂🎉

Most of you see the beautiful squares, the perfectly timed posts, the stories that somehow say exactly what my heart is feeling… but what you don’t see is the trust behind them.

If you know me, you know how hard it was for me to hand over our story, our foundation, our therapy center, our families, and our sweet Eliza, to anyone else. That’s sacred ground. 💕
 But from the very beginning, Veronica captured my voice so perfectly that sometimes I genuinely have to ask her, “Did I write that… or did you?” 😂

Veronica has been with Eliza Hope Foundation since 2019, before the world changed, before the pandemic, and straight through the chaos of 2020. When our families needed connection more than ever, she and Miss Patti worked tirelessly to bring online activities, joy, and normalcy into their homes. 💻💛

She’s the one behind the camera, behind the captions, behind the magic (usually in a fabulous dress😉)making everything look effortless and beautiful, just like her. But today we get to celebrate her. We would truly be lost without her heart, her creativity, her dedication, and her love for this mission.

✨ When Hope Shines, It Changes Everything. ✨

In 2025, hope showed up in powerful ways at The Eliza Hope Foundation.
💙 Nearly 800 children received services
🧩 586 children participated in therapy at our center
⭐ 208 children found confidence and joy through Hope Stars

But these numbers are more than statistics. They are stories. They are families finding support, children finding their voice, and hope finding its way through even the hardest moments.

Eliza’s life has become bigger than anyone could have ever imagined. In the deepest heartbreak, Aimee lost her daughter, Eliza, and CHOSE to hold onto HOPE. From that hope, this therapy center was built so other families wouldn’t have to walk their journey alone.

In the saddest moments, when all you can do is hold on...Hope shines. And when it does, it changes everything. 💛

This is Aaron and Aimee.🥰 Two parents standing in the middle of unimaginable grief after losing their daughter, Eliza. 👼🏻🤍
They could have let the heartbreak close in. 💔 No one would have blamed them.
But instead, they chose to build something bigger than their pain. ✨
They remembered the endless appointments. 🚗 The long drives. ⏳ The feeling of being overwhelmed, exhausted, and alone while trying to do everything right for their child. 😔

So they asked a question that would change everything: What if no family had to do this alone? 🤍
That question became the Eliza Hope Foundation. 🌈
 A place where children receive the support they need. 🧩 A place where families are seen, understood, and held up. Especially on the hard days. 🤗

Here’s the truth that’s hard to sit with: Most families don’t need more strength. They need SUPPORT. 💛 And without it, too many fall through the cracks. That is what EHF strives to provide. 🌟
