Wednesday October 29, 2025 is World Stroke Day! If you are not familiar with the signs and symptoms of a stroke, please look at picture #2.

Remember the Mnemonic FAST

-F stands for Face. Does the persons face appear to be drooping?
-A stands for Arms. Have the person raise both arms and observe if they are having trouble holding them up.
-S stands for speech. Have the person repeat a simple sentence such as “The Sky is blue.” Listen to see if they are slurring their words.
-T stands for time. Every minute counts when a person is having a stroke so act FAST!!!!
