The Glow Girl
Glow Apothecary Owner, Sarah Creech, grew up on a 300-acre farm alongside cows, chickens and lots of fresh produce. Spending most of her days outside, Sarah was drawn to forest mushrooms, berries and herbs that she would take back to her clubhouse to create “potions.” The rivers that ran through the farm provided clay for homemade facial masks. From an early age she drew the connection between nature and cosmetology.
Since then she has spent an extensive amount of time researching and testing all-natural beauty products from around the world including many mushroom-based products that offered a wide range of benefits. Wanting to bring these products to the people of Hampton Roads to try first-hand, she opened Glow Apothecary at the Virginia Beach oceanfront in 2018.
Sarah’s goal is to help educate consumers about the benefits of wellness-based beauty, connecting them to the best products for their concerns and goals. She takes special care to only stock products she uses regularly and truly believes in. She also believes in creating an engaged community, and is passionate about bringing people together to learn about the importance of self-care and how to incorporate it into their own lives.
