Shoutout to Trainer Lauren and her daughter for completing the Shock and Shivers 5k! This race honors Chesapeake officers Tim Schock and Jarrod Shivers, who were killed in the line of duty and ends with a cold water “cooldown” in the Oak Grove Lake Park.

Your grip strength matters more than you think 💪!

Grip strength isn’t just about opening jars or deadlifting heavy weight — it’s a powerful indicator of overall health and longevity.

Here’s why it’s important:

▪️Full-body strength: Your hands are the connection point for rows, pull-ups, deadlifts, carries, and more. A weak grip limits total strength gains.

▪️Injury prevention: Strong hands, wrists, and forearms help protect elbows and shoulders.
