TTC was founded on the premise of supporting Practitioner’s and ask you take a moment to use your voice to help us do so. 🗣️🫵
If you or a loved one have ever benefit from therapy or you are a Therapist yourself, please take a moment to advocate for our profession. Below is a link to the public comment form for the Department of Education proposal to redefine educational programs for various fields to limit student loan access, which includes most mental health program’s. This change will significantly limit access to financial means for individuals to receive the education required to become professional providers such as Licensed Professional Counselors or Licensed Clinical Social Workers and others that all require board reviewed licensures. Following reduced educational enrollment comes a reduced workforce and availability of providers, which limits public access to healthcare and puts your needs at risk.
We hope you will take a moment to help us all maintain the collective support of therapy in our country. 🫂💚

Welcoming a new provider to our space is our favorite; Nicole Wells, PhD is a Psychologist making the transition to independent practice virtually and in person to bring access for therapeutic support and diagnostic testing across much of the U.S. via the PSYPACT.

Nicole has significant experience with the neurodivergent population and provides thorough testing to support individuals across the lifespan in understanding their unique needs to increase function and positive lived experiences. She embodies a high level care while sharing compassion for her clients with the following quote in mind,

TTC has some amazing members and it showed this past weekend during our first member’s meet up! ☕️👥
Session at the A.R.E. Cafe was the perfect spot and we really enjoyed the company. We appreciated the time to deepen our connections and continue our collaboration as we all navigate independent practice. We hope to welcome all our members together again soon! 🙌✨

Welcome to the New Year! ✨

TTC is excited to start 2026 with a new member, Meriah Ward, DNP, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC.
Their extensive experience and training as a Practitioner is a welcomed addition as they continue to expand their Practice via virtual support to increase access for treatment in trauma, neurodivergent care, and the LGBTQ+ community. Offering care for children, teens, adults, couples, and families they are available for a wide range of needs for anyone who may be searching for therapeutic and psychiatric support.

At the TTC office we are now hosting a food donation basket to benefit the Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia. If you are willing and able please consider bringing in any non perishable food items to show support for those in need. With the current economic struggles and upcoming holidays, we would like to spread positivity in more ways than just therapy.

A new month and a new Member!!🤩✨

We welcome Lisa Lee, LPC to Tidewater Therapy Collective as she begins independent private practice offering availability in person and virtually from our office. Lisa is an experienced School Counselor who is excited to now be fully immersed in serving her clients with all the skills to meet them where they are. She is accepting new clients for children, teens, parents, and women's needs who are looking for a solution focused approach provided in a compassionate space to help them achieve lasting change.

✨Meet our newest member!! ✨

Help us welcome Emily Bachardy, LCSW with New Truth Counseling to our office. She is currently serving clients virtually and is trained in advanced Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to support trauma, works with the neurodivergent population, and is an LGBTQ+ affirming provider. She believes therapy is rooted in compassion and connection and is excited to see clients enjoy a life of joy.
