NAMI Coastal Virginia is partnering with the Norfolk Tides for a special event supporting mental health awareness and free programs in our community.

Join us on Sunday, May 31 at 1:05 PM for a meaningful day at the ballpark. Every ticket helps fund free mental health resources across Coastal Virginia.

Tickets start at a $15 donation, with the option to upgrade to $30 for an exclusive event T-shirt. You can also purchase tickets directly from the Norfolk Tides! There are two ways to purchase tickets, both of which support NAMI.

Jessica Huffman, PhD, LPC is a public safety mental health professional with the Virginia Beach Police Department and a longtime member of the NAMI Coastal Virginia community. Her journey with NAMI began as a student and has grown into a meaningful role in advocacy, youth programming, and leadership.

Jessica brings a powerful perspective rooted in lived experience and a deep commitment to making mental health care more accessible and person-centered.

A Chesapeake native and public health focused operations manager in local government, Zollie’s advocacy journey began through his personal experience caring for a family member. That experience now drives his mission to bridge the gap between public service and personal well-being while helping normalize conversations about mental health.

As a husband and father, Zollie is passionate about building stronger communities where mental health is prioritized just as much as physical health.
