How did I get 72 out of 72 five star reviews?
In my last position, I was the sole dermatologist in a thriving practice in South Florida. I worked there for a little over three years.
While there the practice garnered 72 out of 72 five star reviews. There are companies which will write phony five star reviews for dishonest physicians, but these were all legitimate. The patients supplied the names and I knew the patients.
While my reviews were quite favorable in my own practice. There were some effective tactics that the South Florida practice utilized to earn 5* review after 5* review.
One, which is obvious, was that the office was immaculate. One might say that the owners were obsessive-compulsive but as most physicians know, in medicine that is an attribute. In my practice we had a cleaning service that straightened the office after each day. These people did not just straighten the office: they scrubbed and buffed and put every possible instrument or device in its place.
The waiting room was small but on the walls hung tasteful oil paintings. There was a Keurig coffee machine with numerous pods, with a variety of choice coffees or hot chocolate, there were piles of packaged snacks, equivalent to what a traveler would find in the first class lounge of a train station. A dozen fresh Dunkin Doughnuts sat next to the coffee machine. A delightful fragrance wafted in the air.
Patients were spaced so that it was rare for a patient to not be the sole occupant of the waiting room. This gave a sense of a concierge practice without the extra price tag.
