Sleep isn’t just about rest.
It’s when the nervous system resets.
When kids don’t get enough sleep—or their sleep isn’t restful—their body can stay in a more stressed, reactive state.
And that can look like:
• more meltdowns
• difficulty regulating emotions
• increased anxiety
• trouble focusing
• more resistance around things like potty training
Because here’s the connection most people don’t talk about…
👉 A dysregulated nervous system makes it harder for the body to relax.
