Welcome Madison Stephens! CaringEdge in Minot is pleased to introduce you to one of our newest employees! Maddie began her nursing journey five years ago in the ICU, following that position she was part of a flight team-and we are so grateful she had made the move to Home Health and Hospice! She enjoys reading and gardening and all things outdoors, and she and her future husband are the proud parents of 3 cats! Maddie says she is excited to continue serving our Minot area community. April is OT Month đ¤
I feel incredibly lucky to do what I do every day. Being an occupational therapist allows me to walk alongside some of the most resilient, wise, and inspiring individualsâmany of whom I have the privilege of working with in assisted living communities in Sioux Falls and Flandreau, SD.
Itâs the little things that mean the most: helping someone feel confident getting dressed again, making mealtime easier and more enjoyable, or finding ways to keep doing the activities they love. These moments may seem small, but they make a huge difference in someoneâs independence, dignity, and quality of life.
I truly love building relationships with my patients, hearing their stories, and being a part of their journey. Every day looks a little different, but each one is meaningful in its own way.
Grateful for this career, the people I get to serve, and the opportunity to make a differenceâone day, one person at a time. đ

We were welcomed by some very sweet residents at Over Look Ridge 55+ community here in Bismarck. Our rock star Director of Social Services, Whitney Rath-Wald, presented wonderful information regarding the importance of having an Advanced Directive and POA in place. She provided them with the necessary forms, answered questions and helped explain things relating to a hard subject in a relaxed setting. Another example of "Our Why", reaching out to the community with expert information!
