NEW OFFERING: Silent Sessions + Grief-Informed Touch

I recently completed a 20-hour continuing education course in Body-Centered Grief Companioning—an intimate, weekend-long training designed for healing professionals committed to deepening their capacity for presence and care.

Over three days, I joined a small group of bodyworkers and energy practitioners to explore the complex, sacred process of grief. We practiced how to gently hold space for those navigating loss—whether it's the passing of a loved one, a shift in identity, or any life transition that leaves the body aching for understanding.

This training has profoundly enriched my work as a Bodywork Therapist, Energy Worker, and Lifestyle Doula, offering me a more nuanced and holistic approach to emotional and somatic healing.

As part of this integration, I'm now offering Silent Sessions—bodywork experiences rooted in stillness, where emotional presence is prioritized over conversation or the pressure to "fix" physical pain. These sessions invite the body to guide the healing, in its own timing, without the need for explanation or performance.

If you're moving through grief, change, or quiet transformation, you're welcome to request a Silent Session when booking. This is a space where your body is held, honored, and deeply heard—even in Silence.

"Grief and loss are some of life’s most difficult experiences, shaking the very core of our emotional and physical well-being. Whether it’s the death of a loved one, the end of a significant relationship, or another major life transition, the pain can feel overwhelming. Grief doesn’t just impact our emotions—it affects our physical body. It is essential to understand that when we grieve, our body grieves. This makes the healing process complex and deeply personal. As massage therapists, it is vital to understand this complexity to offer compassionate care to our grieving clients while remaining within our scope of practice.

The central theme of this course is the need for someone to be fully present to the magnitude of one’s loss without trying to fix it or point out the silver lining. Who we are has the most significant impact on the caring relationship. As Massage Therapists and Bodyworkers, how do we hold space for our grieving clients? This course is designed to support and guide those who wish to companion the bereaved, while offering hands-on therapy."
