💜 EB Awareness Week 💜
This week 10/25-10/31) we’re shining a light on Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) — a group of rare genetic conditions that makes the skin as fragile as a butterfly’s wing. Even simple movements or a warm day can cause painful blisters and wounds.
Our brave kiddo has EB Simplex Generalized Severe, a form that causes widespread blistering and pain every single day. Yet somehow, she never complains. She is the happiest, kindest, and most radiant soul you’ll ever meet — full of laughter, empathy, and strength beyond words.
There’s no cure for EB, so care focuses on protecting the skin, managing wounds, and easing discomfort. Families like ours spend hours every day tending to the little things that keep our kids comfortable — things most people never have to think about.
We share this to raise awareness, to honor Elo’s incredible resilience, and to remind others that even in hard circumstances, joy and love still shine the brightest.
