My name is John Flores, owner of Precision Pilates. My love for the body and moving began in athletic competition. I was and still am involved in football, soccer, track and golf. I studied Athletic training at COS and moved to Kinesiology at Fresno State. After college I began to work in a physical therapy clinic for the next eight years. I grew under the direction of Jonna Schengel. It was Jonna who introduced me to Pilate and it's wonderful benefits. I then graduated from the Polestar Pilates Program in 2010. Polestar Education is a worldwide provider of rehabilitation-based Pilates education, producing high-caliber Pilates teachers and successful Pilates studio models. I took my instruction from Sherri Betz out of Santa Cruz, Ca. She is a pioneer in the field of Pilates and osteoporosis. Following graduation I was invited to join Polestar's Mentor Program. The mentor program allowed me to assist in the education of the therapists and pilates instructors. During my time with Polestar's Mentor Program I helped teach two courses during this time. After mentoring I taught in private studio in Santa Clara, Ca for one year. My wife and I then moved to our hometown of Tulare, Ca and Precision Pilates was created. Terms of Use:
