Staying on top of your health more times than not comes down to eating a diet that not only provides the macronutrients necessary but one that gives you micronutrients, vitamins & minerals as well. Tracking your food in an app many times can show you the holes in your diet and allow you to fill them in with supplements where needed.

As a husband and a father it is our responsibility to build a physique (& mindset) we can protect our family with.

This does NOT mean a 6 pack and under 10% body fat! Build a functionally strong physique.

Men - believe in yourself. Inspire your family.

Lead by example. Be a gentleman. Know when it is time to love, embrace and when it is time to be stoic, under control.

Something I am always trying to grow and assess myself with.

We are never perfect, and will never be.

But we can continue to reflect, meditate, grow in ourselves.

Ask more of yourself. So you can be the best for those you LOVE!

Fathers? Are you better today than you were yesterday? If the answer is YES, then build upon that momentum.

If not, do not get down on yourself. Sit down. Reflect.

Ask yourself: what can I do to ensure that when tomorrow comes to an end I moved the needle forward.

It doesn’t have to be much. Take solace & pride in even the smallest of victories.

These small wins will compound.

Then sure enough. Over time you will see that you have grown immensely.

Growth takes time. Growth takes failure. Growth takes dogged determination.

You have it within you. Believe. Formulate your plan. Execute.

What is in your heart?

At end of the day you have to ask yourself what do you hope to accomplish?

My honest intention is to help inspire men to push their psychological and physical boundaries of what they believe they are capable of.

BUT - How do you help others if you have never done so yourself?

With each passing day I continue down a path that becomes increasingly difficult.

But this is healthy. This is life.

Life should be no cake walk.

People are so adept to avoiding difficult, daunting tasks.

Their bodies and their minds tell them to stop.

It is in these moments that we must keep pushing.

Defy the odds. The odds many of us set for ourselves.

We give ourselves “outs.”

We create excuses for why we should stop.

That is all the more reason to continue.

No matter your goal: spiritual, physical, psychological - or all of the above.

Be the reason you continue.

If your goal is to lose weight and eat in a caloric deficit it is an absolute must that you weight train.

If you do not your body will use muscle instead of fat. You may lose weight but your body fat percentage will actually increase and your body composition will become worse.

3 tips to lose fat RIGHT NOW!

1. Increase protein intake! At least 1 gram per pound of bodyweight. You’ll stay full longer, and will eat be less prone to eat junk food!

2. Get in 10,000 steps per day. Go for walks after meals! This helps with digestion, anti-depressant, great for heart health.

3. If you have a non-training day decrease your carbohydrate inside. Carbs are energy, if you’re not training you don’t need carbs.
