We were feeling extra groovy this past weekend participating in the annual Wabash Cannonball Chili Cookoff! 🥄

We took home third place in open showmanship and the #1 spot for our chili in the restaurant division! 🌸🌼✌🏼

What’s better than taking a cruise to escape the fall weather? Taking a Disney cruise, of course! 🛳️🫧

We celebrated our final theme week of the year with a Disney Cruise theme. From getting makeovers at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to exclusive character meet and greets to the amazing food, we had a great week “sailing” with the most magical cruise line! ☀️🚢✨

To honor Grandparents' Day, Wellbrooke of Wabash hosted a Dessert Bar, and the excellent Worship Team of Dana, Bruce, and Bobbi hosted an Old-Fashioned Hymn Sing-Along. The weather was perfect, and so many terrific family members came and made it an extra special day!

One of the newer activities that our residents enjoy is "Show and Tell." Every Saturday morning, our residents have the opportunity to bring a keepsake and share it along with their story with other residents. Sharing prized possessions is wonderful and very special. Our resident Miriam shared the story of her prized Shirley Temple doll that she won in a contest at local drug store when she was 12. Hope shares the illustrations for children's books that her father, a commercial artist, did in the 1920s.

Wellbrooke of Wabash had a previous resident call and wanted to recognize Marie, LPN for her kind heart and great care. She had nothing but nice things to say about Marie and her stay. Marie truly touched her heart. She brought Marie flowers as a token of her gratitude. We are so blessed to have Marie as part of our amazing staff.
