It's that time of year for our annual fundraiser! We are proud to be partnering with Hacker's Nursery once again to offer Christmas greenery for the holiday season. Due to supply issues, there are some changes this year. We are offering 6 different items:
1. 26" Deluxe Wreath (mixed greens of noble fir, incense cedar,
blueberry juniper, and white pine): $55.00
2. 12" Red Ornament with Fresh Greens: $46.00
3. Swag of Mixed Greens: $35.00
4. 25' Balsam Garland: $46.00
5. 12" Pot with spruce tops & mixed greens: $55.00
6. 15" Deluxe Porch Pot (birch poles, dogwood, pinecones, &
mixed greens): $70.00

Orders due by November 1st. Product will be ready for pick-up at the facility on December 6th.

We got too busy yesterday and forgot to post for Jerry's birthday. His daughters were here to visit earlier and brought him flowers to brighten his day. We hope you had a great day, Jerry!

On Saturday Bob celebrated another trip around the sun. Today he and his wife provided doughnuts for social hour to honor his birthday. We hope you had a fantastic day!

Bob & Vonnie celebrated 59 years together yesterday. Happy anniversary to you both from all of us at Serenity Suites. 💞

Meet Leah! Leah first became acquainted with Serenity Suites last year as a volunteer doing crafts and playing games with the residents. This past May, she became an employee. Leah lives outside of Wabasso and has a twin brother. She loves to play UNO and rummy and her favorite ice cream is cookies & cream. In her spare time, you can find Leah on the volleyball court or hanging out with her friends. She would love to take a vacation to the Bahamas someday. Her favorite part about working at Serenity Suites is taking care of and helping the residents as well as the residents' family members. She loves helping others and hopes to become a nurse following her high school graduation in 2026. We are so happy she is a member of our talented team!

We held our annual family picnic last Saturday and were blessed with a wonderful turnout. It was great to see so many families enjoying the day. As the saying goes, many hands make light work, and the day would not have been as successful without the help of the following: Jeff & Kelly Rohlik, Chuck & Marilyn Daub, Mark Winter, and our staff that were onsite to assist. Lastly, to Tony Moger who provided entertainment following our meal. The smiles on everyone's faces says it all!

When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. When you receive an abundance of apples from generous donors, you make homemade applesauce! What a treat!

We decided to have some football fun this season with a friendly competition. Each participant filled in their prediction for the season. Each correct guess will earn 5 points, and an incorrect guess will deduct 3 from their overall score. If last night's game offers any insights, it should be an exciting season. SKOL!
