Pies With a Twist is pie-focused, so that frees us up to anything your heart desires!
Want gluten free? We got it. ✅
Want sugar free? We still sweeten with Stevia and Swerve brown sugar. ✅
Want coconut cream with a pecan crust and toasted lime meringue? Sure, why not! ✅
Want the traditional pies with no frills? No problem! ✅

Let me introduce myself. My name is Brittany and I’m the owner and Executive Chef at Pies with a Twist. I’m a former critical care nurse who had enough with the politics, and traded in my stethoscope for knives. I started off way at the bottom, but through blood, sweat, tears, determination, and perseverance, I worked my way up.
Inspired by my grandmothers, former patients who gave me their recipes (Miss Lillie’s sweet potato pie), and colleagues throughout the years, I have found a niche that the Waco area desperately needs.

I also work as a private chef for hire, I taught myself how to carve intricate fruit platters, I’ve even been hired to do inspirational charcuterie boards!
Everything on my menu is homemade. From crusts to french custards, zesting and juicing, down to the whipped chantilly cream topping!
The pinned menu is the latest, although an updated, more professional version is in the works. Message or comment below for more information, and a BIG shoutout to all my loyal customers who continue to make this dream a reality! 💜

Yes, yeeeees I’m a jack of all trades.
Growing up as an artist, I never realized how I could use my art in my future career as an ER nurse, unless you count blowing up a glove and drawing a face on it 🤪

As a chef, I only thought I could use my art in fine dining, which I’ve trained for as well. But there was something missing….so I taught myself how to create fun charcuterie and fruit carvings!

This platter was different as the customer didn’t want the frills (and that’s OKAY!!). She didn’t pay full price for it either 💜

Shout out to ALDI USA for ALWAYS providing my business needs! Whether it’s pie supplies, fruit platter supplies, charcuterie frills, or my own shopping needs, they have the BEST selection of delicious and healthy foods at a great price!

How’s about this mini box combo?! The possibilities are endless!
Ever dip your in peanut butter as a kid (or…now) and think it’s the greatest combination EVER?? Well the Finley’s Favorite is a crust, filled with my own whipped sweetened peanut butter blend, and topped with a dark chocolate ganache and peanuts. The bitterness of the dark chocolate pairs perfectly with the sweet and salty mix of flavors in this pie!

Blueberry lemon pie is perfectly paired with a streusel crunchy topping and a lemon whipped cream. The cream can be served on the side, especially if you want to heat the pies up and add the cream later!

The chocolate French silk is so silky and smooth, you’ll never want store bought chocolate pudding ever again! My chocolate custard is only made with cocoa and semisweet chocolates, prepared using French techniques and topped with my homemade chantilly cream and chocolate chunks. It’s a fan favorite for sure!

All pies are 100% homemade, with the exception of the “nuttery buttery” cookies on top of the Elvis pie 😉.
The Elvis also features a layer of my whipped sweetened PB below the fresh banana custard. Good, huh!!

These blueberry and strawberry trifle pies are summertime perfection!
Graham cracker crust, a layer of blueberry compote, a layer of chantilly cream, a layer of strawberry compote, and finished off with cream and fruit “flag”. They’re so much fun and delicious!
