It is very personal.

And as much I don't like posting personal things and I haven't posted anything much at all lately, I have decided to post this one. And save it like a prayer 🙏

The last things I was prepared to hear at my 10 weeks prenatal check up is that baby has no heart beat. My dear doctor hugged me and said "I am so sorry. Unfortunately, it happens way too often"

Yes, I knew that miscarriage is common in 1 trimester but I have never imagined it would happen to me. Very selfish of me . It took me a while to process this news and I even couldn't cry. Not there.

And then days of thoughts , and anger , and pityness for myself. Then letting everyone know about the loss .
Maybe for that reason we "should not" tell anyone about pregnancy untill 2 trimester?
But the last thing I wanted is to be left by myself. Alone with my thoughts. I think many people ( I used to be that person) thought that if you don't bring this out then it will be easy for mother to get over it faster. You may don't want to upset her talking about her loss. We just don’t know how to navigate it.
But I will tell you PLEASE ask her about her loss , and ask how she feels , and ask if she maybe wants to get lunch together or just talk or just give her a hug. She may not want to go out but she will thank you that you care.

Maybe it is "very common" but it is a big loss for me. Please don't ask me when and if I am going to "try again" because I am not ready to move on and act like nothing happened. I just want to grieve my little "what if" a little longer💔

Thank you my friends for being here for me. For your warmest texts, hugs and support. I could never imagine how many of you went through this. My dear sis Jenny told me “child loss is tough on everyone involved .. we don’t compare our stories to each other because we know what loss is” So true..

I had my D&C procedure today . And I am doing ok. I just want to say bye to my little angel and my "what if"

And this is my prayer 🙏🏼♥️

Why do I love Pilates method?

It is simple! Because it makes me feel good! 😃

I am very active person. If you have Apple Watch than you will understand what I mean when my activity rings closed every day without even trying. 😂 I am always busy. I run my business, I do exercise regularly, I have 2 little kids , I am a wife.

And I try my very best every single day. I try to cook healthy meals, I try to be an example for my kids, I want to be fun mom and take my kids do things, I try to be good wife and I really work hard to be the best teacher for my clients! No time to get sick, sore or lazy!😄

So yes, I need my energy, I want to look in shape and have good posture, I need my flexibility and I don’t have time to be in pain. Pilates gives me this all!

If I miss my workout I will be walking to Monday class with hip pain and tight back because of all the things I try to do over the weekend! (Did I mention that I love work on my yard and garden too? 😂 )

And I can’t wait for my Pilates class! Even if I don’t work to workout, I feel energized and pain free right after the class and I ALWAYS glad that I did it!

I hope your workout makes you feel the same ❤️

One of my clients asked me today “why in Pilates we do only 3-10 reps and in the gym they ask us to do sets of 25 - 50 reps ?” 🧐

Have you thought about this too? And have you thought why after the class you feel like your total body is ‘cooked’ but you might not be even much sore the day after? 🤔

Pilates is a total body integration. You may lift much more weight and do more repetitions if you sit or stand, but you will not be able to do the same if you have to find your balance on the reformer carriage first.
Developing muscles proportionally and gradually, with full range of motion in your joints , without favoring your big ‘mirror’ muscles , that’s is why Pilates different from any other strength based exercises. 🤓
Make you sore is not my goal . Make you strong - yes. 😄

I know ,starting Pilates, like any other new exercise program , can be intimidating. But if you were thinking about giving Pilates a try , here is a little guide on What to expect in your first Pilates sessions🤓

✅ you will learn how to operate new equipment , mostely pilates reformer.

✅ you will learn the basic pilates flow , classic exercises and maybe even some harder modifications , depends on your strength.

✅ you will learn how to engage your core and learn breathing techniques . Yes, breathing is very important part of pilates . 😉

✅ at the end of the session you will talk with your trainer about your fitness goals and plans on how to reach them 👍

Also , I have to add, you may feel very uncoordinated at first , but it is very normal. You will feel comfortable and begin to notice the difference in your body pretty soon.
It seems a lot to learn for the first session and almost impossible to do it all at ones. That why 2-3 private sessions would be the best to begin with before you sign up for the group class. 👍
