Today, we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

His words continue to challenge and inspire us to look beyond ourselves and care for one another, especially those who are most vulnerable.

In Texas, we live this call by caring for our neighbors and walking alongside individuals and families across our community.

Congratulations to baby Ezra's family!

When Tom collapsed in his home in the Fall of 2022, he quickly lost all control of his legs. Within hours, he was paralyzed. He was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome—a rare and terrifying neurological disorder that left him with no voluntary control of his muscles.

Tom’s determination, paired with the expertise of his Ascension Providence therapy team, helped him go from a wheelchair to walking again. Today, he’s back in the workshop doing what he loves.

Your gift helps ensure patients like Tom have access to the care, equipment, and support that make recovery possible—right here in our community. Make your tax-deductible gift here: https://bit.ly/3L0NYqM

When Tom was suddenly paralyzed by Guillain-Barré syndrome, he feared he might never walk again. But with the help of our skilled and compassionate therapy team, he slowly began to regain strength and mobility.

“They challenged me, encouraged me, and believed in me,” Tom said.

Today, Tom is back on his feet—and back to the active life he loves. Your gift helps ensure that more patients like Tom receive exceptional care and support when they need it most.

After developing Guillain-Barré syndrome, a rare disorder that left him unable to move, Tom faced a terrifying prognosis.

But thanks to the dedicated therapists and caregivers at Ascension Providence, Tom began to rebuild his strength—one small milestone at a time. Through specialized physical and occupational therapy, his care team helped him regain mobility, confidence, and independence.

“Without the quality, equipment, and staff at Providence, I literally would not have recovered to this degree,” Tom shared.

Providence is essential to our Waco community. It’s not just a hospital—it’s a lifeline. Make an early gift here: bit.ly/4acedVc
