I became a working mom this summer! Kind of… if you call working two days a month for 3 months working! It has been so great to see my regular clients, to keep up my practice, and figure out what caring for others looks like now. The balance is HARD but it’s so nice to engage with adults and do something else besides breast feed all. Day. Long. Bubba comes to see me in between clients so he can get a snack (still no bottles or solids for my sweet boy!) and I’m loving this new Friday rhythm. Thank you everyone who reached out about getting a massage from me. I’m only seeing a few of my regular clients who have seen me through, building my practice, pregnancy, pandemic, and a longggg maternity leave. I definitely wasn’t ready any earlier than this, and honestly, I’ll probably be ready to just do the mom thing this Fall. It’s a joy to do both for now!
