THIS SATURDAY is our last walk of the year!

Come join us for Walk With A Doc, led by our very own founder, Dr. Nadege Gunn.

Walk With A Doc is a global program with local chapters all around the world and our Waco one is led by the McLennan County Medical Society.

Each FREE monthly walk begins with a short discussion on a health topic led by a community physician, followed by a 60-min walk around the park.

In Waco, we meet on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 9am at Mountain View Park.

Last night we joined other community organizations, and hundreds of families, at the 8th Annual Christmas on Memorial event at Family of Faith WC Waco!

Pastor Ruben, and his incredible team, put on another wonderful and well-organized event filled with cheer and resources for all. Free groceries, fresh produce, giveaways, Christmas music, pictures with Santa (with toys!), and information on great community resources!

This year they added an emphasis on their Project Farmacy program, that helps empower families to start their own home gardens.

Our team had the pleasure of participating in the Waco Police Department and Waco ISD Police Department 2025 Trunk or Treat.

Thank you to all the community first responders and organizations that helped make this a fun and safe event!

We loved seeing all the families participate with their great costumes, as we passed out candy and information on our no-cost liver health scans and paid clinical trials!

Last week, our Waco team hosted the 2025 MASH BASH Liver & Metabolic Education Series in Waco, TX!

Over 120 community clinicians, and their guests, gathered to connect and engage the topics of liver disease and obesity. We heard presentations from Jonatan Garcia, MPH on the Work of Velocity Waco and Nadege Gunn, MD, CPI, DABOM, FAASLD on MASH Updates, including the latest diagnostic and treatment options for MASH (metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis). The evening ended with our Signature Innovations Symposium, presented by Boehringer Ingelheim, titled "How Can We Better Understand Obesity?" by Dr. Joel Solis of Elevate Clinical Research.
