Please join us in welcoming Amber Clark, MSW, our new Outpatient Coordinator at Oceans Behavioral Hospital - Waco!

Amber began her journey with Oceans during her master’s program as the first social work intern in Lubbock, Texas. Over the past two years, her dedication, leadership, and passion for patient care have helped her grow within the organization.

Today, we are proud to celebrate her progression into the role of Outpatient Coordinator. In this position, Amber is committed to strengthening our outpatient services while continuing to expand and enhance the quality of care we provide to our community.

Outside of work, Amber enjoys spending time with her family and her fur babies, listening to music, and working on creative diamond painting projects.

We are excited for this next chapter and look forward to the continued impact Amber will make on our outpatient program. Join us in congratulating her on this well-deserved achievement!

At Oceans Behavioral Hospital - Waco, we believe healing includes caring for the whole person - and that starts with the basics, like hydration!

Today’s theme day was Hydration Day.

Clients enjoyed choosing from a variety of provided teas, flavored drink packets, and hot chocolate to sip on during session. Along with the fun, sessions included education on how proper hydration impacts mental health, mood regulation, energy levels, and overall cognitive functioning.

Our outpatient program incorporates daily theme days to keep groups engaging, interactive, and enjoyable while still delivering meaningful therapeutic education and skill-building. We believe learning and growth can happen in creative and supportive ways.
