"Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing" is a popular song that appeared first in the movie Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing (1955), and it won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1956.

Many major artists, including Nat King Cole, Eddie Fisher and Doris Day, were first contacted to record the song, but they disliked it and refused to record it. However, they recorded the song after the version by the Four Aces became a hit.

To our Friends and Supporters,

You are invited you to join us next Thursday, the 25th, for our final exhibit at fotografías gallery.

After 4 wonderful years of activity and more than 16 exhibits, showcasing the work of both established and emerging artists from our community and beyond, fotografías will permanently close its doors at the end of October.

This decision follows Divine Home Care Services’ move to its new building in Waco at the end of this year. The gallery is located in the lobby of Divine’s current office building at 127 E. Elm in downtown Hillsboro.

Our closing exhibit, fittingly titled Closure, will feature the work of Eduardo Berdegué and Robert Brockmann, a Bolivian journalist, writer, and photographer.

All are invited to the gallery’s last Toast with the Artist on Thursday, September 25th from 5 to 7pm.
