What is Texas Toddlers in sports and academics ?!
This is an organization created for those kids who are too young to join in sports or any academic activities.
Mostly kids under the age of 3 cannot join in yet in much. The reason thought for that is because at this tender age, some toddlers cannot stay engaged for too long and it is true. The meet ups done with us started out to be planed for 30 minutes. Now however meet ups are for about an hour.
Texas Toddlers was also created for the purpose of trying out different sports. Each meet up is different. One meet up it can be outdoor sports such as soccer, Tball, golf , or disc golf. The next can be boxing , indoor soccer, mma, library meet up, OR; for special treats, it can be meeting at a fire station , police station or maybe even at an ice cream shop to learn how it is made as well as to enjoy some great ice cream afterwards.
This organization is meant not only for our children to enjoy but also for parents to bond with their kids and set an example. Our parents are encouraged to play along and hit the balls, Join in on soccer or put on some gloves 🥊 and join in some boxing as well. By having our parents join in on sports and or academic activities, our children are encouraged and motivated by just watching us. I say us because I too have a toddler whom I started this all for. Not only does this allow kids to interact with others the same age, but it also encourages play time where they learn to share, take turns, and communicate.
The vision for this organization is grand! We already have a couple of parents drive nearly an hour for our meet ups and tons others have shown interest in joining the fun.
Right now we only have our 2-3 year old toddler meet ups. Please stay tuned as we post updates and announcements.
Soon we will be posting about the start of 4-5 year old kids meet up group as well.
A private group on messenger has been made and parents are added to the group in order to converse about meetup dates and times. This is done privately to ensure the safety of our parents and toddlers and not share real time location publicly.
