It’s Friday, which means it’s time once again for Friday Faces of Advanced Home Health & Hospice. This spotlight celebrates the heart and passion of the team behind the care we provide every day.

This week, we’re proud to introduce Gabrielle “Gabby” Brewer, RN, Clinical Director of Hospice for Advanced Home Health and Hospice of Waco.

Gabby Brewer joined the Waco team in January 2026 and brings a deep commitment to compassionate care and clinical excellence. She has dedicated the past six years of her career to serving patients and families as a hospice RN Case Manager, where she became known for the empathy, skill, and steadiness she brings to every patient interaction.

Gabby has been a registered nurse since December 2001, earning her nursing degree through McLennan Community College. Her diverse clinical background includes experience in Medical/Surgical care, the Emergency Room, and the Intensive Care Unit. She also spent 11 years in nursing administrative leadership, where she provided oversight to 147 nurses and played a key role in bringing a large healthcare facility into compliance with regulatory requirements and the Department of Justice.

Family is at the center of Gabby’s life. She is the proud mother of her son, Brody, and shares her home with her significant other, Clifton. Their household also includes three beloved dogs who are very much part of the family: June, Lizzie, and Max.

In her role as Clinical Director of Hospice, Gabby focuses on raising standards, educating employees, supporting families, and continuing to provide safe and compassionate care to the communities we serve. Of all the roles she has held throughout her career, hospice quickly became the work she loves most, allowing her to lead and serve with what she describes as her “loving hospice heart” full of purpose.

We are grateful to have leaders like Gabby on our team who bring experience, compassion, and heart to the mission of caring for others.

In April 2026, Heather Moyers will celebrate 12 years with the Advanced Health Care family. She is a dedicated healthcare professional whose career began as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Advanced Health Care of Mesa, where she spent eight years delivering compassionate, high-quality care. She later transitioned into the role of Business Office Manager with Advanced Home Health & Hospice in Arizona, expanding her impact on the operational and administrative side of healthcare delivery.

In August 2024, Heather joined the Administrator-in-Training (AIT) program and simultaneously returned to school to further her education. Following a relocation to Waco, Texas in August 2025, she proudly completed her Bachelor of Science with a focus in Physical Therapy in October 2025, demonstrating her commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Heather is deeply family-oriented and has been married to her husband, Chris, for nearly ten years. Together, they are raising their two daughters, Madison and Victoria, and share their home with their beloved dog, Paisley. When asked what is most important to her in her role as Administrator, she shared that she is passionate about educating others in healthcare, raising standards of care, and leading with both heart and purpose.

February is National Heart Month, a time to raise awareness and take action around heart health. Cardiovascular disease remains a leading cause of death in the United States. As a result, education, prevention, and early intervention are more important than ever.

At Advanced Home Health and Hospice, heart health is personal. Caring for the heart goes beyond clinical care; it means supporting healthier lives through education, prevention, compassion, and community connection. We’re proud to stand alongside organizations, caregivers, and volunteers across the country who are committed to supporting one another.

This month also serves as a reminder that anyone can be a lifesaver. Learning CPR, making heart-healthy choices, and sharing awareness can have a meaningful impact.

Together, let’s continue to lead with heart.

As the holiday season surrounds us with its familiar glow, Advanced Home Health and Hospice would like to take a moment to say thank you... from the very bottom of our hearts.

Thank you for trusting us to care for your patients, your residents, and the precious people you serve every day. Because of your confidence in our teams, we have the privilege of being part of something truly meaningful, especially during this tender time of year when family, connection, and compassion matter more than ever.

This season is about

It’s little faces lit by twinkling lights, the smell of favorite recipes filling the kitchen, hugs that last a bit longer, and the comfort of being surrounded by the people we love most.

Our hope is that these days wrap you and your loved ones in that same warmth; filled with laughter, rest, good food and the kind of joy that restores the soul.

From our family to yours:

Merry Christmas and the warmest, happiest of holidays.
