Today we received heartbreaking news: our good buddy Spotty passed away from lymphoma. He was only 11, but in those years — especially the ones he spent with us — he made a lifetime’s worth of impact. His curious, playful personality added just the right touch to our therapy sessions, and he always managed to drive a powerful message home in the way only Spotty could.

We will forever be grateful that he shared his heart with us for the time he did. We take comfort in knowing that Spotty spent his short time on earth doing what he did best — helping humans feel safe, brave, and seen.

Run free, sweet Spotty. You were one of the greats. And Buddy… thank you. You did so, so good.
