Aloha e nā mea ola o ka ʻohana Pā Ola,

With everything that has been going on in the world, we hope this message finds you well. Even though it seems like a lifetime ago that we were sitting on the deck, you all have never left my thoughts and prayers. Since the closing of the clinic, I have set my roots on Hawaiʻi island. I was also honored to become a co-president of the ʻAhahui Lomilomi Hawaiʻi, and a co-founder of Lamalama Ka Ulu non profit. These changes and new kuleana only empower my commitment as Kumu to our Pā and the legacy that Uncle Alva left for us all.

Mahalo piha for your patience and continued faith.

A lovely throwback to this day 4 years ago. Pa Ola Hawai’i alaka’i practitioners offering free lomilomi at in Napo’opo’o, Wapi’o, Moku o Keawe with an unreal view of Hi’ilawe in the background. One of the most humbling places to offer our service. Mahalo ia ka ohana Potter no ka malama ana o keia wahi laa.

It’s truly amazing what is being done at our Mauna Medics tent. Healers from so many different disciplines of medicine all working together with a common goal of health. Phenomenal. Mahalo.

Aloha kakou.

Thank you for coming together to celebrate the man we still hold in our hearts and daily lives, Uncle Alva. Through his joy and laughter we have ohana in each other to support and be supported. We look forward to more family gatherings where we can celebrate each other and a man that touched us all so deeply.
