Yoga at home is full of distractions from pets to kids to lurking dust bunnies. Leave all of that at home and come practice with us at Mountain Rose. We have classes 6 days a week.

Happy New Year!

Thank you for being a part of the Mountain Rose Community. A new year is a moment of reflection and there is much to be grateful for.
Thank you for standing by this studio through ups and downs and lots of changes.

Today’s class was set around self compassion and the softness and grace that are necessary for that work.

At the beginning of the class, the students were asked to remember a moment that they felt unconditional ❤️. I asked them to allow that feeling to grow in their entire body then let the story go and sit in the sensations. Love is love.

When we remember a moment that we deeply experienced it, it can shift so much.

Last night, on my way to work I was listening to one of my mom’s favorite songs - “Perhaps Love” - and this line was highlighted for me: “May the memory of love see you through.”

As we embrace a new year, may love be a guiding force.

As I sit on my couch with Clover curled up beside me, I have a moment to reflect.
