Kidzcare Pediatrics Wake Forest location is hiring a Medical Assistant/CNA/CNAII- This position is Monday- Friday 830a-530p. NO HOLIDAYS, NO WEEKENDS
Responsibilities:
• Proper detailed documentation
• Validating insurances on day of appointments
• Record patient information such as vital signs, weight, and changes in medical history
• Ensure all immunizations are in both NCIR and patients EMR chart
• Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments
• Assist in maintaining the medical inventory
• Knowledge of pediatric/adolescent vaccines (preferred but not required)
Work Experience / Skills / Education:
• Associate degree or diploma in medical assisting/CNA OR CNA II
• 1+ years of experience working for a healthcare practice
• High level of professionalism
• Strong customer service and computer skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Dependable, multitasking individual willing to be part of a team
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking is a plus)
• Reliable transportation

As the summer heat continues to rise PLEASE keep in mind that heat stroke deaths in cars can happen. On average 38 children under the age of 15 die of heat stroke from being left in a vehicle.

When left in a hot car, a child's major organs begin to shut down when his temperature reaches 104 degrees Fahrenheit (F). A child can die when his temperature reaches 107 degrees F. Cars heat up quickly!

NHTSA's heatstroke campaign provides facts and ways to prevent heat stroke death in cars, especially kids who are most vulnerable in hot car deaths.
