What is your favorite type of activity and why?
-“my favorite activity is anything with crafts, I love watching the residents paint and create things”
What is something you wish other knew about activities?
-“I wish others knew that it’s also about getting to know the resident, hearing their stories, and spending one-on-one time with them”
What made you want to work in a long-term care setting?
-“Growing up I spent a lot of time with my grandparents, and I love knowing that I am making a difference in someone else’s life or doing what I can to make it better. I love all the residents dearly”
What is something you try to live by everyday?
-“I try to remember that I am no better than anyone else; you never know what is going on in someone else’s world; and kindness is contagious!”
