In palliative care, we understand that not every day is a good one — and that’s okay. Sometimes the goal isn’t to thrive, it’s simply to get up, get dressed, take your medications, nourish your body, and make it through. There is STRENGTH in “just having a day”. There is COURAGE in continuing. And there is GRACE in meeting yourself exactly where you are.

Thursday’s Lunch & Learn at Baxter Palliative Care had us all leaving with a full heart🩵

We were grateful to be guided by Dr. Ginger Lemay through an insightful presentation on mindset and the powerful role it plays in our day-to-day lives. The conversation was thoughtful, engaging, and full of practical mindset shift techniques we can carry with us moving forward.

Most importantly, it reminded us just how essential mental health is—in our work, our relationships, and ourselves.
