After 15 years of dedication, compassion, and heart, Jeannot Melon officially retired on Friday from Communitas 💙

Jeannot’s impact on our community is immeasurable. His kindness, steady presence, and deep commitment to the people we support have left a lasting mark on everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him. He brought care, patience, and genuine connection to his work every single day—so much so that even Santa stopped by to wish him good luck in retirement!

In honor of his incredible service and lasting legacy, the patio at the Woburn Day Program has been dedicated to Jeannot—a space that reflects the warmth, joy, and sense of community he shared with all of us, especially during his favorite soccer games.

Thank you, Jeannot, for 15 remarkable years. We wish you nothing but happiness, relaxation, and well-earned joy in this next chapter of retirement. You will truly be missed! 🌟🍉⚽

Earlier this week, individuals from our Wakefield and Woburn Career Services teams went undercover as holiday elves, secretly gathering to prepare and package gifts for all Communitas staff. With plenty of singing, laughter, and teamwork, they took their important mission seriously - while having lots of fun along the way.

Before heading out, the groups shared just how excited they were to be part of the Employee Appreciation process, beaming with pride as they admired their beautifully packed gifts tucked neatly under the tree. Talk about a full-circle moment: a paid work opportunity for the people we support, as they helped spread holiday cheer to the staff they know and love.

Proof that we’re better together - especially when there’s a little holiday magic involved! 🎁✨
