When the weather is gloomy, you can still make small steps to keep that blood flow going.
Happy Friday! If you need a little sunshine, look no further than these smiling faces 😄

They don't call us the "Ocean State" for nothing, and we couldn't call ourselves Rhode Islanders without learning more about the ocean, and all living creatures in it. Another fun group outing at Mystic Aquarium recently.

Another Healthy Monday moment to kick start your week!
Losing an hour of sleep can make Monday mornings feel a little rushed, like the day started before you were quite ready.
On weeks like this, it can help to lean on routines you already have to reduce stress. Instead of finding space in your packed schedule, add a relaxation moment to something you already do.
Take a few deep breaths while your coffee brews.
Meditate while the shower warms up.
Stretch or do gentle yoga while watching TV.
Small moments like these can help turn a hectic Monday into a calmer one.
We just couldn't let this day pass without recognizing the amazing co-founders of Holistic Development Center. Thank you to Lauren and Kathryn for seeing a need and stepping in to serve the members of our community in southern Rhode Island!

Feeling a little of the "moody monday"? Instead of waiting for it to pass, take a shortcut towards the positive. Give yourself permission to take a break with a video that makes you laugh out loud; or listen to a couple of your favorite (upbeat) songs. It only takes a few minutes, and it can make all the difference. Read along for more tips!
