Myofascial Release (MFR) Yoga involves using yoga props and self-massage tools (see below) to release tension, improve movement, and return connective tissue to a healthier state. It is not only excellent for relieving general discomforts, but also reducing chronic pain, enhancing athletic training and recovery, accelerating healing from injury and surgery, and more.
This month, Sunday, January 18th, our focus is on the hard-working neck! We’ll explore self-massage techniques that relieve chronic neck tension and restore postural integrity by freeing up the spine and upper torso.
