Women supporting women. Women lifting women. Women cheering for each other even when no one else sees the work behind the scenes.

This is my dear friend Sarah McGinley — an incredible primary care provider, business owner, and one of the women who believes in supporting other women’s dreams instead of competing with them.

She invited me to the Harvard Women’s Health and Menopause Conference, and I am so grateful to learn alongside brilliant women who are changing the way we care for women in midlife.

There is something powerful about women in medicine supporting each other, building practices, following dreams, and making space for each other at the table.

When I left my previous employer I had a panel of over 1500 patients. I’m thankful to announce that since opening in October, 103 patients have joined my new practice. I believe the Direct Primary Care model allows for a better patient and provider relationship than the traditional model. I plan to cap my practice at 300 patients, before considering bringing on another provider who shares similar values. I appreciate the support of our community!
