🎤We had such a blast at our most recent karaoke night!

On November 7th, we gathered at Incompass Human Services in Tewksbury to host a karaoke event for the community.

Thank you to Incompass Human Services for having us, and shoutout to all of the singers for bringing the energy and the talent to the stage!!

Earlier in the month, our team of music therapists presented professional development workshops for the educators and staff in some of the Lawrence Public Schools.

They presented on topics including using music for self-care, the musical developmental level, and even incorporated some music making experiences for the staff.

In addition to leading music therapy sessions in the classrooms, we are grateful for opportunities like these to learn from staff, provide more education about music therapy, and establish more ways for us to collaborate to better support the students!

We are so grateful for the wonderful energy, enthusiasm, and care that Link brings to his work with his clients.

From serving as the Program Lead in the Lawrence school district, to rocking out in group homes and with individual clients, Link does it all!

Earlier this month, Michaela and Collin joined the Eldercare Professional Networking Group (EPNG) for their monthly breakfast and networking event at the Alliance Health at Rosewood.

Michaela and Collin presented on music therapy, its benefits with seniors, individuals with Dementia & Alzheimer's, and individuals on Hospice and/or Palliative Care.

EPNG members engaged with music-based experiences and had the opportunity to hear a legacy project.

This week we are recognizing Emily, as she celebrates 6 years working at Roman Music Therapy Services!

Emily has grown so much during her years at Roman Music Therapy Services, bringing both her clinical and supervisory skills into her current role as Lead Music Therapist.

Emily brings her beautiful singing voice, her great sense of humor, and her compassion and mindfulness to her work every day, and we are so grateful for that!

Members of the Roman Music Therapy Services team had a great day at the Provider's Council's 50th Annual Convention & Expo in Boston a few weeks ago!

The Providers' Council is Massachusetts' Largest Human Services Membership Association.

This year at the event, our CEO, Meredith Pizzi, and COO, Jen Ray, led a presentation titled "Creating Dream Teams through Courage, Culture and Coaching".

It was great connecting with and learning from others who work in the human services field!
