11 - Barbanti-Silva family, Italy – Joannes “dictus Barbanto de Alemania” (fl. 1498), is remembered as the progenitor. He had two children: Giovan Quirino and Giovan Galeazzo who continued the lineage – one branch added the surname Silva, following marriage and inheritance. Gian Galeazzo said, living in 1529, was Podestà di Fabbrico. One of his sons, Ercole, married Silvia dei Silva and continued the family, who also took on the surname Silva.

Buckinghamshire – also London - Hugh de la Grove (fl. 14th century) of Grove Place had daughter Anna who married Robert Gardyner c. 1448. - Thomas de la Grove (fl. 14th century) of Agmondesham had daughter Agnes who married William Brudenell c. 1400. - Ermine on a chevron engrailed gules three escallops argent.

2) Robert Grove of Donhead, St Andrew, Wiltshire, England was granted a crest in 1560 –also the Grove Baronetcy, of Ferne House, in the parish of Donhead St Andrew in the County of Wiltshire, is a title in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom created on 18 March 18th, 1874 for Thomas Grove (1823-1897), Liberal Member of Parliament for Wiltshire South and Wilton who descended from John Grove who settled in Wiltshire in the 15th century. The Ferne estate was purchased by William Grove (d. 1582) who briefly represented Shaftesbury in the House of Commons and purchased the Ferne estate in 1563. - Ermine on a chevron engrailed gules three escallops, the center one or, the other two argent. 6) found in a quartering on a memorial associated with Pollard and Sheldon families of Nuneham Courtennay, co. Oxford who had ancestor John Grove (fl. 15th century) of Ford Hall at Wooten Wawen, co. Warwickshire – but he bore the shield argent and the pineapples gules - Gules a chevron between three pineapples or (another, tinctures reversed). Crest—A hand holding a thistle proper.

7) Grove of Shenstone Park (17269-1845), co. Stafford - Borne by Edward Groves Esq. of Shenstone Park, Staffordshire, 1826, son of William Grove (1741-1794). - Argent a chevron engrailed gules between three stumps of trees eradicated and erased proper, quartering, argent on a chevron between three martlets gules as many estoiles Or. Crest—On a mount vert a dragon statant proper collared and chained Or, charged on the shoulder with an estoile gules. Motto—Laudo manentem.

1 - Counts of Feria, a Spanish noble title created on May 17th, 1460 by King Enrique IV in favor of Lorenzo II Suarez de Figueroa (c. 1410-1461), feudal lord of Feria and numerous towns in Extremadura - En campo de oro, cinco hojas de higuera, de sinoples, puestas en sotuer.

2 - Duke of Feria is a hereditary title in the Peerage of Spain accompanied by the dignity of Grandee, granted in 1567 by Philip II to Gómez Suárez de Figueroa, 5th Count of Feria, a diplomat and advisor

3 - In 1517, Emperor Charles V decided to exile Don Juan Suarez de Figueroa (grandson of the first Duke). After settling in the Kingdom of France, King Francis I of France granted
Don Juan Suarez de Figueroa the title of 1st Marquis of d’Aulan in 1532. Denis François de Suarez (1720-1790), Marquis, Lord of Poult-en-Persys - Azure with a tower argent masoned doorways and openings sable and surmounted by an eagle or crowned ancient of the same.

4 - Joseph-Marie de Suarez d'Aulan, Bishop of Vaison, vicar of Saint-Pierre of Rome and secret chamberlain of Pope Urban IV, in 1633, presents a curious variant of the arms of the Suarez family, by the addition of a rounded chief Azure, with three bees Or, which are the arms of the Barberini, those of Pope Urban IV who certainly granted it to the prelate, his adviser.
