Open to a holistic philosophy, DSM provides a wide variety of traditional and alternative subjects, giving the students a firm foundation for growth. Congratulations to all the participants of the
Manual Lymph Drainage Certification taught by Erin Maranjian LMT, BCTMB, CLT-LANA & Klose Training Instructor.
This was held at DSM last week. Lymphatic Drainage is a much needed modality. The effects of lymphedema can include swelling, numbness, tingling, distress, anxiety, depression. Having massage therapists who are educated and skilled in the area of aiding the lymphatic system is just priceless.

Did you know, many holistic practitioners and some physicians will recommend Lymphatic Drainage for those diagnosed with Lyme Disease? Lymphatic massage is done with a very light touch and in addition to helping aid the body's Lymphatic System it feels very nurturing and is relaxing to the nervous system.
