Every day in my practice, I see two sides of women: incredible strength⌠and the quiet struggles they rarely talk about.
I see career women balancing work and family. Mothers carrying babies for months and then continuing to carry the physical and emotional load of raising them. Women who show up for their husbands, their children, and everyone around themâoften placing themselves on the sidelines.
But I also hear the quiet stories.
As a pelvic health therapist, I see the vulnerability many women carry in silenceâthe frustration when their bodies change, the fear when they experience pelvic pain, leakage, or difficulty with intimacy.
If thatâs you, please know this: it does not make you any less.
Women are strong, but we shouldnât have to suffer in silence.
Iâm grateful to live in a time where women have choicesâto build careers, raise families, advocate for their health, and pursue what they love while still being themselves.
And as a mom of two daughters, Iâm reminded every day why this work mattersâso the next generation of women can grow up knowing their bodies are strong, worthy, and deserving of care.
Happy International Womenâs Day. đ
