This is the one of the most horrible crimes ever !

A Louisiana man killed eight children, including seven of his own, in what police are calling a domestic violence shooting Sunday morning.

Shamar Elkins shot and killed the children at a home in Shreveport. The victims were between 1 year old and 14 years old. Seven of the children were killed inside the home.

The eighth child was shot and killed on the roof trying to escape. Police responded to the 300 block of West 79th Street just after 6 a.m. following reports of a domestic disturbance.

Elkins also shot his wife in the face and a woman believed to be his girlfriend. Both women survived. Elkins fled the scene and carjacked someone at gunpoint. Police chased him down and shot and killed him in neighboring Bossier Parish.
