Because we care not only about our residents, but we also take pride in caring for our staff and showing them some appreciation for all their hard work and efforts! Earlier this week, The Activities team shared some MD Crabs, laughs and great conversation over lunch!

A huge shout out to all of our Nursing Staff, Dining Staff, Activities, Concierge, Housekeeping, Maintenance, & Marketing who come to work every day to improve the quality of our residents' lives. Thank you for all you do and then some, The Charleston Appreciates all of you!

Charles County Public Library not only support our avid readers and come by every month to collect and distribute books to our residents! Recently we welcomed them to come in and do what they call Lobby Stops. What's a Lobby Stop you might ask yourself? A lobby Stop is where they come in with some books, available for residents to check out, provide Book Recommendations, Basic tech help, Audiobooks, DVD's and anyone who is interested in getting hooked up with their own library card, they take care of that as well.
We had a wonderful turnout and look forward to the next Lobby Stop.

On Tuesday 10/21 The Charleston Pineapples headed out to visit BAM (Books-a-Million) in Waldorf, MD! What a fun adventure. Something about the smell of books inspires the imagination.
We enjoyed belly filled laughter looking through a book of photos that had "Cats on Catnip". Only thing missing was coffee!
