Ever wonder if "church hurt" is what people are doing to the "church" vs. what the "church" did to you?

The term "church" can be the building or the people, right? Okay, and the church building is for sinners, imperfect people to be transformed through discipleship and a relationship with Christ.. okay, soooo why do we people expect perfection even from "Christians"in church? I am not saying we must accept poor behaviors to the point that we as Christians don't pray against them, or pray deliverance for others, or even address them head on in respectful ways, but we have to change our perspective and expectations instead of blaming CHURCH or saying "church hurt". Leaders, brothers, and sisters in Christ still have struggles, struggles they must not be in denial about, so the CHURCH BUILDING,and ultimately, God’s intended purpose for it, will not have a bad name or reputation. That part, yeah, I know...

If you were hurt at your CHURCH BUILDING by an individual, let's remember it's not God’s fault, the building's fault, but instead an individual's (or individuals') doing that you still have to forgive and process with God on the next steps. Don't allow your flesh, the enemy, or emotions to cause you to react in a way that brings more harm or hurt to others or a decent church's reputation. I am sorry you experienced that hurt, but hurt is an inevitable part of life, and sometimes the hurt is just the fuel you may have needed for the next chapter of your life!

Ask God, wait, and listen!

During the time of the creation, God explained to Adam not to eat fruit from one specific tree. After God created woman, she learned the same...do not eat of this tree. The story continues to tell us a serpent tricked WOMAN, Eve specifically, into eating the forbidden fruit.

Question: Why do you think the serpent came to trick the woman and not the man? Is it something to that and if so, are we, men and women, operating in our designed roles in relation to each other or in life in general?
-Just thinking and listening...
