Cranky baby usually means there is excess pressure / tension in their body, and correcting this is my specialty! This is your sign to reach out (DM or Call (201) 746-0640) to get your consult & eval booked ☎️

Your first visit with me is 45-60 minutes where we can dig into what your pregnancy and L&D were like, and how baby has been since day one. My exam is gentle, I can show you exactly what I am seeing in real time, and offer recommendations so we can get started right away. The care I provide is safe, gentle, and effective 🙂

We will go over best techniques for feeding, diapering, bathing, carrying, and transporting your baby - tiny tweaks in your routine will help healing & prevent future issues - as well as help your body to feel better when caring for you little one 🌞

It often doesn't take very long to see changes, and as you know...when the baby is happy....so is everyone else 👨‍👩‍👦

When you are pregnant or raising a young family, your nervous system is in constant overdrive. Your body is physically active all day and your mind is active 24/7.

It's common for you to feel overwhelm and start to think this is your baseline.

Overwhelm for parents can look like exhaustion, crankiness, digestive upset, and so much more.

Overwhelm for children can look like crankiness, sleep disruption, digestive upset, frequent illness, behavior changes, and so much more.

When you get a chiropractic adjustment, it helps to reset your system from the brain down. This has been Dr. Jen's specialty for over 25 years. Reach out to the office today to find out more or get back on a schedule.

We made it to the end of January!

Some of my friends & patients have begun the year with joy and laughter, others with loss and tears. Regardless of mood and circumstances, everyone has dealt with stress.

If you only have a few minutes to yourself, find a dimly lit space and a piece of wall. Lie flat with your legs against the wall & your hands on your belly and take a few deep breaths. This will help your nervous system to calm down and your body to soften.

If you have more than a few minutes, reach out to the office and we'll find you time in the schedule. There's nothing better than a chiropractic adjustment to boost your system from the brain down!

Misconception: Once you start chiropractic care, you'll have to go forever. Most people feel better and choose to continue seeing their chiropractor for a long period of time.

Something to think about: do you go to a dentist once and then never again...or do you brush your teeth daily & get check-ups a couple of times a year, because your teeth feel better when you do?

Most of our patients choose to follow home care recommendations & stick with periodic in office visits because they like the way they feel. Dr. Jen will work with you to come up with the care plan that best meets your goals - call today for a consultation to see how we can help you!

Expectation: when I signed up for this race in September, I was fresh off a climbing event, I felt fantastic, and my calendar was empty. I committed to 75 miles, hoping that I would finally hit the elusive century ride  - 100 miles in one day...

Reality: I aggravated a chronic injury last week, I had to drive my son back to college for his spring semester this weekend, and I did not anticipate such cold weather that would also make riding more uncomfortable for my body. So what did I do - did I push through, try and hit the goal I made in September when I did not know what January would actually look like, and ultimately injure myself further? No, I took stock of where I am today, I readjusted what I was safely capable of doing, and I hit my new target.

Sometimes the pregnancy and/or newborn experience we expect turns out vastly different from reality. Let Dr. Jen be a part of your journey. Let her help you figure out what is the safe & healthy for you, and help you get there!

You may have heard, there's more snow on the way!

Looks like we're getting anywhere from 11" - 17", so get your shovels ready. You're better off going out every few hours so there's less snow to move.

When shoveling, remember to lift with your knees instead of your back! If you forget, we'll be in the office on Tuesday for a tune-up!

I'd like to think that I always present myself in a professional matter but quite frankly, when you work with prenatal & pediatric patients, you are crawling around on the floor as much as you are standing on your feet. Although my clothes may be soft and flexible, I promise the services I provide are top notch!

Snow ❄️ outside = hot chocolate ☕️ inside!

How will you spend your day today?

01/17/2026

I don't think we're going to get a lot of snow, but please be careful out there! One extra layer for your baby is plenty to keep them warm enough, and shoes/boots with a good tread for you so that you don't slip on black ice!

Enjoy your weekend!
