As the clocks shift forward and daylight lingers a little longer, the body doesn’t always adjust as quickly as the calendar. Energy can feel scattered, sleep slightly off, and the rhythm of the day unfamiliar.

This Creative Chakra Flow offers a steady way to realign. Through breath-led movement and chakra-inspired sequencing, Raji guides a practice that circulates energy, awakens focus, and supports the body’s internal rhythms. Dynamic yet accessible flow builds warmth and vitality, while intentional breathwork and the resonant tones of Tibetan singing bowls invite the nervous system to settle.

The experience is both uplifting and grounding — a way to move into the brighter season feeling clear, balanced, and connected.

🌿Step Into the March Thaw 🌿 Beautiful Classes
& Workshops Await🌿

The body has a way of communicating that is more like a vibe than traditional language.

Sometimes it’s a sigh at the end of a long day.
Sometimes it’s tight or stiff muscles asking for attention.
Sometimes it’s the echo of an old injury still shaping how we move.

Our habits, stress, injuries, and even our resilience are etched in the body. When we slow down enough to breathe and be fully present, yoga becomes more than stretching and breathing. It becomes a conversation.

A sigh or a twinge may be the nervous system asking for release. Tight hips may be asking for steadiness and support. An old injury may be asking for patience and a different pace.

In class, we practice observing — gravity, resistance, openness — creating space for both unwinding and stability. We learn to respond rather than override.

There is deep wisdom in your own structure.

Going forward, listen to your sighs.
Notice what your body is asking for.

While creating a safe space, Rose will share a variety of self-empowering techniques she has been using in her private healing practice for years. Can you be a Buddha in the snow?

I’ve been reading The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg. He writes about how the brain forms habit loops to conserve energy and keep us safe. We all have them—often unnamed, yet quietly running the show. They become our autopilot: small, repeated patterns that shape our days. Some support us. Some have run their course but remain. From time to time, they’re worth noticing, naming, and gently setting free.

Yoga, in its own way, is also a repeated loop. But it’s one, we step into consciously. It supports well-being by strengthening the mind–body connection and invites us to experience ourselves through breath, gravity, space, and balance. As a keystone practice, yoga invites change - gentle shifts begin to ripple, subtly reorganizing the whole system.

Slowing down. Breathing. Moving at your own pace.
Change comes from within.

The New Year has a way of carrying a lot of weight. And while fresh starts can be inspiring, they can also come with pressure - the feeling that we should already be moving faster, doing more, or figuring everything out.
Yoga offers a different perspective. It reminds us that change comes from within. Growth happens gradually like a sunrise through trees, it's an ever changing view. Flexibility - physically and mentally - comes from patience, not force. It's the yin to strength's yang.
The studio is a place to decompress. You’re allowed to arrive exactly as you are - and let the practice meet you there to take the long view. To slow down, breathe, and stretch out what feels tight—inside and out. What if rest, steadiness, and presence mattered just as much as progress?

Energy Medicine Yoga (EMYoga) blends the ease of yoga with the Chinese Meridian System and Energy Medicine to balance the body’s meridians, chakras and aura for healing. It uses simple, effective self care methods like tapping, breathing and movement to clear energy blocks and create deeper states of relaxation and resilience. to improve focus, find a calmer emotional baseline and feel the profound stillness of conscious rest.

From a comfortable seated position let's start with a nice breath, inhaling and exhaling. Wait till you feel the breath moving slowly through your belly, ribs, let your shoulders melt as the spine aligns. Now imagine you could go sit at that picnic table. Feel what time of day is it? Season? Temperature? Listening, what do you hear? Invite loved ones to join you (past, present or future). Allow your imagination fill in all the blanks. The first day of a New Year is the perfect moment to explore a starting point like this with a wider lens and possibility.
Nurture this fleeting feeling and amazing things can happen. A practice like this could be as simple as taking 5 conscious breaths, a few cat/cows or child's pose each day. Learn what that makes you feel calm, connected and curious. It's different for everyone. Like yoga.
I'm happy to share that the Y-Stretch community is growing and I'm so excited by it's possibility. My hope is that our cozy studio has been a place for you to feel more open and released that allows your mind, body and spirit to wander in gentle ways. It's your yoga, in your body, with a kind heart and an open mind.

Give yourself the gift of deep rest and renewal as the weekend winds down. Join Candy for a 90-minute Sunday afternoon practice combining Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra, designed to restore your body and calm your mind. This class is a perfect way to reset before the week ahead—leaving you refreshed, centered, and nurtured from the inside out. We received so much good feed back from our last class on October 19th!
✨ Yin Yoga: We’ll begin with a grounding Yin practice, holding poses supported by props to gently stretch the connective tissues, release long-held tension, and create more spaciousness in the body.

As the long weekend winds down, take time to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. This special class weaves together gentle movement, grounding breathwork, and deep relaxation to cultivate gratitude — for your body, your breath, and this moment in time.
Move through slow, fluid stretches to release the weight of the week, breathe into your heart center to restore balance, and close with a guided meditation to welcome inner peace as we move toward the stillness of winter. Raji will complete the practice with singing bowls during savasana. Leave feeling lighter, centered, and reconnected to the quiet abundance within.
This class is a joint effort between Y-Stretch Studio and Raji Thron of Yoga Synthesis. $20 Registration is through Punchpass. Please Pre-register.
