We’re so excited to formally introduce Dr. Jake Pray to our patients! Dr. Pray has been instrumental in helping Dr. Nebel care for more patients and improving our ability to accommodate emergency visits more quickly.

Dr. Pray earned his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2017 from the University of Houston College of Optometry, where his clinical training included rotations at an Indian Health Services facility and multiple specialty clinics within the University Eye Institute.

He brings over eight years of private practice experience in medical optometry and primary eye care, with a strong focus on diagnosing and managing ocular disease. Known for his warm personality and friendly chair-side manner, Dr. Pray strives to ensure every patient feels comfortable, cared for, and confident in their eye health.

After much prayer and a desire for warmer weather, Dr. Pray and his wife, Lindsay, relocated from Wisconsin to South Carolina in 2024 with their four children. They are thrilled to call this community home and enjoy exploring all it has to offer. Outside the office, Dr. Pray loves spending time with his family—often on the water, hiking, or hunting.
